Moms Are Making Changes And It’s Freaking Amazing!

What Happens When Mamas Come Together & Invest in Themselves

One thing I’ve noticed about moms, is that we don’t invest in our personal development enough, and it’s a damn shame.

We don’t want to spend the money on ourselves.

The mom guilt kicks in.

We think we can better spend that money on our kids, or fricking groceries.

And then we stay stuck in the same spot we’ve always been, wishing and wanting for more.

But, as The Mojo Mama Recharge comes to a close, until September, I want to highlight the beautiful, strong, determined, and committed women who have gone through this 8 week course and come out on the other end CHANGED!

Here’s What They’ve Learnt & Accomplished:  

What Isn’t Working & What We’re Going to Do About It:

One thing is for sure, self love was on the TOP of our lists. If you’re not loving yourself as a woman or a mama, then we had to stop and take a good hard look at why.

And then, we released, let go, forgave and moved on…to loving ourselves and declaring and showing that love out loud in front of our children so they in turn, learn to love themselves.

Then We Got Seriously Organized: Like Ninja Style!

We mamas have a TON to do and have so much going on in our  lives that if we’re not organized, the shit show continues and that’s what we’re trying to put a stop to in this course. So that’s just what we did. We got our lives, our calendars, our schedules and our homes organized!

Next, We Got Sweaty & Healthy!

If you want to be around for the milestones in your son/daughter’s lives, then it’s time you took good care of yourself. Moms are the nurses and booboo kissers around the house, so when it comes time to loving ourselves and our bodies again, we did JUST THAT! When to workout, why working out, what do you WANT to do in order to be healthy? Hikes, runs, classes, yoga, soccer? We figured it out and go it DONE!

You Can’t Out Exercise a Bad Diet!

So, let’s talk about recipes, our faves, our go-to’s, the ones that taste the best, the ones that the kids will eat! We shared and dished! It’s not about what you do, it’s about what you eat! Stay healthy mama!

The Mamas Took Time to Reconnect With Their Passions Again

So, whether that meant meeting up with friends, or doing fun activities with their families or just by themselves, it was time to find out what we missed doing, and get back to it! STAT!

We Thought About Our Communities and How We Can Give Back

When it comes to raising children I am all about showing them just how lucky and how fortunate they are. So, what better way than to get out into our community and give back with our children in tow!

We Reflected on What Makes Us Grateful

Our loved ones, our children, our freedom, our loves, our lives, the lists went on and on. But we decided that this was the time to cultivate our gratitude practices, and we are so grateful (pardon the pun) that we did!

But most of all I am GRATEFUL for these beautiful women and their time and commitment to themselves. Because we cannot be the best versions of ourselves if we don’t work at it.

Many moms don’t take the time to fill up their cup, but these women did. They are forever changed, and I am SUPER STINKIN’ PROUD OF THEM!
